Credit Worthiness

We spent a few minutes talking about elements of credit worthiness. The following link will lead you to a review of what we discussed. You may access Laura's lesson review online here.

This material came from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. You may find the materials here http://dallasfed.org/educate/pubs/wealth_classroom/11_lesson.pdf

Complexity of Business Planning

We discussed the importance of keeping good records and the various aspects of business planning as described in the NFTE curriculum. NFTE is the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and can be found at http://www.nfte.com/

We also viewed small business cash flow, profit and loss spreadsheets that come with the Women’s Small Business Start-Up Kit book. This book is available at http://www.nolo.com/
