How was your summer? For YWCA kids it was about gardening, dance club, yoga, swimming classes, museums, the beach and more. The finale? an end of summer back yard barbecue, face painting, a bouncy house, a "slush" station, games, water play and so much fun and laughter.

The mission of YWCAs across the US is Eliminating Racism and Empowering Women.....We do that by promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Tonight YWCA Malden will stand with Malden's Interfaith Community against racism and bigotry and stand up for peace, in our community and in our country.

Please Stand with us as:
Malden Unites Against Hate
Thursday, August 17, 2017
Courtyard at Malden High School,
77 Salem Street, Malden
6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Please join us for a peaceful interfaith community vigil against bigotry and for peace in Malden, in response to last weekend’s white supremacist violence in Charlottesville, Virginia; the vandalism of Boston's Holocaust Memorial and subsequent arrest of a Malden teen; and the Nazi rally planned for Boston this weekend.
Organized by: Nichole Mossalam, Kari Percival, Lori Ardai, Amanda Ceide, and Fern Remedi-Brown
Come listen to inspirational speeches * Be moved by uplifting music * Participate in releasing our fear
As one of the most diverse cities in the entire region, we seek to be a model for how this diversity makes us a stronger community. Let us stand up to bigotry and violence in Malden and everywhere.

Community Service at its best with two days of action! Thank you United Way of Mass Bay and thank you to HarbourVest volunteers. Working alongside the children vounterrs brought our summer peace garden to life! They built a raised bed vegetable garden, and added summer flowers everywhere. Volunteers scraped and painted outdoor space, even getting in two coats of paint for a total transformation. Amazing!!!! #liveunited; #ywcamalden
